I am a first-year doctoral student at George Mason University. I am working towards a Ph.D in American history. My area of interest is early and mid-nineteenth century transportation. This blog is tracking my continued progress in digital history studies at GMU. I am beginning my second semester, which I assume will take me even further out of my comfort zone.
